Gathering Place Trading Ltd. is a majority women-owned Canadian company dedicated to sourcing and crafting high-quality, organic foods with integrity and heart. Founded by Lovena and Ryan Harvey in 2003, our family-run business has grown from a grassroots operation on Cortes Island to a nationally distributed brand based in Campbell River, BC.


For over 22 years, we have built trusted relationships with small-scale Canadian and international farmers who share our commitment to sustainability, fair trade, and organic agriculture. All of our products are handcrafted and packaged locally, with 100% of our labor based in Campbell River. We proudly offer a growing number of Canadian-grown items—13 and counting—while ensuring that every product we sell is Canadian-made.

As a women-led company, our leadership team is composed entirely of women, and 80% of our staff are women. We are passionate about supporting food security, ecological stewardship, and ethical supply chains—from farmer to family, for love of the Earth.
