January

• 1st Annual Island Good Membership Drive – January 17th to 31st
  • If you purchase a new or renew an existing license between January 17th to 31st you receive a $25 discount. Even if your membership isn’t due, pay now and save.
• New Welcome Package launches – this package includes a mailed package of IG swag & videos.
  • Don’t worry current licensees, we want to mail you what you need too – fill out this easy google order form for door stickers and buttons by Jan 31st and we will ship them to you (free!).

February

• Social spotlights begin! If you are a current IG license holder on Feb 1st you will automatically be included in the A-Z of Island Good.
• Opportunities List – new advertising, networking and partnership possibilities.
• Sign up for the 2nd Annual Island Good Days in June 2023 at beautiful Arbutus Meadows.

March

• IG networking comes to a place near you! Watch for dates to connect with the Island Good Team and IG producers, makers, growers and creators close to you.

April

• Island Good goes to market! The market season is starting and Island Good’s newest partner is the BC Farmers Market Association (BCAFM).
  • There are 27 Vancouver Island and rural island markets that will be waving the IG flags and we are so excited to include them in our retailers list.
    • Watch for ways to connect with market opportunities early in March.

May

• Announcement – New Island Good opportunities at the State of the Island Economic Summit!
  • Watch for details on more info and signup in May and get ready to showcase your IG to over 550 delegates in October.

June

• ISLAND GOOD DAYS!
  • With over 240 Island Good businesses on Vancouver Island and the Rural Islands, Island Good days is a celebration of our Island Good producers, retailers, restaurants and distributors. Stay tuned for special events, increased advertising and Island Good days proclamations from communities across the Island.

July & August

• Summer staff will be touring the region to promote the brand with retailers, at the markets and through Visitor Centres.
• Island Good Holiday Market(s) sign up!
  • In 2023 we are expanding on the success of the Island Good market in June to reach the holiday shoppers.
• Want to be part of the Holiday Gift Box program? You will see opportunities to connect to that over the summer.

September

• Connecting Island Good licensees to new sales opportunities!
  • Are you looking for wholesale opportunities? Ready to expand your retail markets? Looking for custom orders? The launch of our “Discovering Island Good Links” starts now.
  • Starting in September the IG team will focus on bringing buyers to IG suppliers.

October

• 17th Annual State Of the Island Summit October 25 & 26
  • IG at the tradeshow, on the table and in the program.
• Release of the 9th Annual Economic Report
  • New data on regional consumer spending will be used as calls to action for buying local.
