Buddies was Founded in Central Saanich 2005. We retired an old Butcher Shop, and opened up a RAW PET FOOD store. In 2010 we relocated to Duncan - increasing our space and capacity from 1250 square feet to 10,000. Buddies is the Largest Raw Pet Food Manufacture on Vancouver Island. Our product is sourced locally, we are 100% Canadian. ( My Grandchildren are 5th generation - proudly I am a single mom, 58 and super proud of Buddies Achievement - almost like a 5th child (As I have 4 ), and my Oldest son is now helping Manage the plant. The Manufacturing plant was upgraded to Automation in 2020, currently we have 8 staff running the plant and 3 in the office. Buddies prides it's self on customer service, and consistency with product. We have 2 retail Stores, one in Central Saanich, and in Duncan - each store has 3 team members. Raw Diet for Dogs and Cats in increasingly growing. Buddies has over 100 products on the menu. We process over 50,000 lbs per week. Everything from Chicken to Emu, Kangaroo and everything in between. Our signature product is the BUTCHERS BLOCK. This is designed to keep a variety of proteins in your pets diet. Buddies is unique as an unadulterated product, with no fillers or additives.
