Dr. Sylvain Charlebois – the “Food Professor” Keynote at the Upcoming Economic Summit
July 2021 / By: Diana
Dr. Sylvain Charlebois on…
It’s getting complicated out there, and that’s a good thing!
The Canadian agri-food landscape is continuously changing to remain competitive. Disruptions in how Canadian consumers shop and buy food are a constant in today’s fast changing world. As the line between food service and retailing blurs, how will this impact agriculture and farming in general? By examining food cultures and trends more closely, along with climate change implications, Dr. Sylvain Charlebois will engage in an open dialogue about food systems opportunities for the Island.
VIEA is thrilled to announce Dr. Slyvain Charlebois as a speaker at our hybrid Economic Summit October 27 & 28 online and in-person at the Vancouver Island Conference Centre!
“Kudos to the VIEA Summit for going back to the future! The time is right to seriously consider entering or expanding in the digital economy and I know many companies in our region who are developing hybrid business model strategies as they adjust to restarting, recovering and re-imagining what’s possible!”
