We are a small scale, sourdough focused bakery in the heart of the Alberni Valley. At Nook, we LOVE sourdough. We make our loaves using high quality, organic flours. Our Red Seal certified baker has been baking professionally for over ten years. She started her career at the Culinary Institute of Canada and progressed to baking in the amazing kitchens on the west coast. Sourdough is just the start of what we have to offer. We look forward to sharing our passion with the community here in Port Alberni. At our facility, we pride ourselves on crafting all of our products in-house with the utmost care and attention to detail. We are committed to using only the finest quality ingredients in our recipes and strive to incorporate organic ingredients whenever feasible. Our sourdough breads are meticulously prepared using the time-honored long ferment method, which produces a delectable sour taste that sets them apart from others.
