Get your gumboots on and join Raincoast Education Society for a hands-on exploration of local eelgrass meadows! We'll use a beach seine to gently catch and observe the fascinating ocean creatures that call this intertidal habitat home. You will have the opportunity to help pull the seine up onto the beach and investigate species caught inside. Raincoast Education Society staff will teach you how to handle the animals caught with care, everything is safely returned to the sea. Hosting an event in your community?
