Jenny Marie’s Cracker Company began in 2011, inspired by time spent baking with my grandmothers in St. John’s, Newfoundland. After moving to Victoria, I found my way back to the kitchen as a way to feel grounded and at home again.
With a nudge from my husband Ben, I started selling at a local farmers market—bringing a mix of baked goods, but it was the crackers people kept coming back for. So I listened. By 2012, we took the leap into retail, and we’ve been baking crackers ever since.
Everything we make is rooted in what I learned early on: use good ingredients, take your time, and make food that feels like something. Our crackers are baked fresh to order, naturally vegan, and meant to be enjoyed your way.
Top them, dip them, or eat them straight from the bag. Pepper & Sea Salt with strawberry jam? It works. Lime & Pepper with guac, hummus, or even cranberry sauce? Also very good. There are no rules here—just really good crackers.
