🌼 Hadih (Hello), My name is Ali, I am the creator and owner of Wildflowers & Co. 🌼🌸! Welcome to Wildflowers & Co., this is an Indigenous woman, owned and operated e-commerce small shop. You can find us along the West Coast of Vancouver Island. Our mission is to support small shops, women and Indigenous people in business. We offer local and high-quality products for women and children apparel, jewelry, home décor, artwork and more. A little about me… 🌺 My name is Ali; I am from the Wet’suwet’en First Nation and second-generation born Vietnamese immigrant. Currently, I call the home in the unceded traditional territory of the Ligwiłda'xw people; the We Wai Kai, Wei Wai Kum and Kwiakah First Nations people in Campbell River, British Columbia. I live in this community with my husband (Cody), son (Ember) and Bow (Vancouver Island's cutest commercial fishing black lab). My hobbies include badminton, cycling, advocating for living organ donation, supporting youth in high performance sport, shopping local and low-waste living. Certainly, we are living in delicate times. Were in this together – as we navigate new grounds under the global pandemic of COVID-19. During this time, my family had time to reflect about ‘the new normal’ and the impact of COVID-19 had on our friends, family and community. I became inspired to open a small shop because of the many progressive women in business that surrounded me. As a result, the vision of Wildflowers & Co. became alive.
